Elevation Certificate

This website is scheduled for routine maintenance on Saturday, May 27th between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00 AM.  You may experience intermittent outages during this time.

National Flood insurance Program (NFIP) (FEMA Form 81-31)

Elevation Certificates are required by the NFIP and utilized for flood insurance rating and to satisfy the requirement of the issued Development Permit.  The elevation certificate serves as a record of the elevation of the lowest floor of any new building or substantially improved construction in the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA).

  • Elevation Certificates are available on structures built in SFHA, at the Flood Control District offices.
  • The certificate is available with instructions, under Flood Control’s home page and on FEMA’s website:  Elevation Certificate
